About Us
Founded as a wholly owned operating subsidiary of the TANK SERVICE Corp in the mid 70’s. ENQUIP was assembled to address an increasing concern over water quality around installations subject to pollution from hydrocarbons as a result of storage, transfer and dispensing of diesel, lubricating oils and aviation fuels.
Engineers went to work to design a product that would yield superior oil/water separation results and would overcome inherent problems with the single compartment settling tank design then being used.
A short time later the TSI-ENGINEERED EQUIPMENT PRODUCTS OIL/ WATER SEPARATOR received its patent. The numerous advantages of the design to separate varying gravities of oil from water without the need to adjust internal skimmers and the ability to hydraulically lock-up under catastrophic oil spills established the design and the company as a leader in the industry. The firm and its engineering teams developed numerous products for metered injection of additives and flow improvers for the petroleum industry and the Flow Stop Valve for gravity discrimination of fluids.
